Mercy Corps Safeguarding Policy

Mercy Corps respects the dignity of all human beings and is committed to observing and safeguarding human rights. Mercy Corps has robust ethics policies addressing Child Safeguarding, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of Beneficiaries and Community Members, Trafficking in Persons and Sexual Misconduct. These policies are available at www.mercycorps.org/who-we-are/ethics-policies and the trainee is responsible for reviewing and understanding the requirements in these policies. If the trainee violates or becomes aware of a potential violation of these policies in relation to the trainee's activities under this training, the trainee must report the violation or potential violation to the Mercy Corps' Integrity Hotline website : http://mercycorps.org/integrityhotline . The trainee understands and agrees that a violation of Mercy Corps' Ethics policies may, in addition to any other remedies available under this training or at law, result in immediate termination of this training by Mercy Corps and may also result in trainee being ineligible to participate with Mercy Corps programs in the future.
