Meet Joe Friel, an engineer from the UK who visited us in Gaza last month. He co-founded @Yalla Cooperative with @simon Dupree and @ramyalshurafa, a GSG graduate we are very proud of. Joe is one of our top and most beloved mentors. He gave a couple of workshops to our community of developers and freelancers. Gaza Sky Geeks welcomes mentors from all over the world, who are looking to share their knowledge with the Palestinian tech community in Gaza and the West Bank; remotely or in-person. Last year more than 600 young Palestinians learned from 100 mentors, and we’re excited to welcome new mentors for the new year, to join our community and mentor our coding academy participants.
